PhDs from the University of Valladolid's Physics Programme find jobs at national and international level. The main professional opportunities for PhDs from our programme are research and/or teaching positions in national or foreign research centres and research positions in companies that carry out activities connected with various fields of physics and engineering in fields closely related to the research lines of the programme: Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology, Physics of the Atmosphere, Optics, Space Exploration, Thermodynamics and Mathematical Physics.
The main jobs are:
- Researchers in national and international public centres.
- Researchers in R&D departments of national and international companies.
- University professors.
At present, 100% of the graduates are working. 55% of the graduates have jobs related to research and/ or teaching in the academic world and 45% have jobs in R&D departments of national and international companies.
